This carpet by Dutch designer Yvette Laduk is iconic. It is also beautifully made. The annual rings and bark of the tree are very realistic. You really think you're looking at a huge slice of a tree.
The rug is made of durable wool and polyamide in a cradle-to-cradle process that is used in the project design. The edges are cut, burnt and fixed, so that the tree bark effect is strengthened. Made to stay beautiful for years. Also possible to hang it as a tapestry on the wall.
